For private events, ://about blank states a capacity of up to 250 people in the Gartenzelt or on the dance floor. For regular club nights, no specific, publicly stated total event capacity has been confirmed on the source pages consulted.

://about blank opened in 2010 as a techno club and cultural centre in Berlin and is run as a co-operative. It is positioned as a political club and cultural space, rather than a traditional event venue.

The venue is situated in Berlin-Friedrichshain, right next to Ostkreuz on the edge of an urban rail and transport hub. This makes it, above all, a practical night-time venue for club nights and larger parties, with a distinctly urban rather than touristy character.

The main public transport access point is Ostkreuz S-Bahn station, Markgrafendamm exit; lifts are available from there. Bus routes 194, 347, M43 and N94 also stop nearby. The site has some wheelchair-accessible areas and there is a wheelchair-accessible toilet in the building.

The venue mentions drinks, pizza and snacks for the seasonal terrace. This suggests basic facilities are available on site; for a busy night out, it’s best not to expect an extensive range of food options.

Thanks to its location near Ostkreuz and in Friedrichshain, the venue is easy to combine with an overnight stay in the city. Anyone who doesn’t want to travel back after a late rave or night out at a club will find themselves practically on the doorstep of plenty of hotels and apartments in Berlin city centre.

["post-3122","ga_venue","type-ga_venue","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
