For large-scale events, this venue is actually used as a festival site. Dominator reports that it attracts more than 50,000 visitors, with several different areas and a separate campsite on the site.

History

E3 Strand is a regular leisure venue that is also used for major dance events. In July, the venue is regularly closed, either partially or entirely, to host a major event, such as Dominator.

Location

The venue is situated on the outskirts of Eersel, by a lake in a green, open setting. This makes it more of a secluded festival site than an urban club or venue.

Accessibility

For visitors travelling by public transport, Eindhoven Central Station is the main interchange; shuttle buses run from there to the event. For those travelling by car, there is a permanent car park at E3 Strand. For multi-day events, there is a campsite entrance, and re-entry from the campsite is restricted or not permitted, depending on the event.

Food and drink

E3 Strand offers catering facilities on hot days during the summer season. During major events, additional event catering or festival catering may be provided by the organiser.

Accommodation

For events lasting several days, you can usually stay at the campsite. If you’d prefer to stay in a hotel, it’s more practical to head to Eindhoven or the immediate surrounding area.
