Effenaar
About this location
Capacity
Effenaar has two venues: the Grote Zaal for larger concerts and club nights, and the Kleine Zaal for smaller, more intimate events. The venue is specifically used for a wide variety of concerts, club nights and dance events. ([effenaar.nl](https://www.effenaar.nl/agenda?utm_source=openai))
History
Effenaar is Eindhoven’s pop venue and concert venue, offering a wide-ranging programme of live music and club nights, including heavy metal, dance and ‘club card’ events. ([effenaar.nl](https://www.effenaar.nl/agenda?utm_source=openai))
Location
The venue is situated right next to Eindhoven railway station, on the outskirts of the city centre. This makes it particularly convenient for evening visits by train or from the city centre, as it is just a short walk from Eindhoven station. Accessibility
The venue is easily accessible by public transport: from Eindhoven station, take the 'centrum' exit and walk approximately 150 metres. For those travelling by car, Effenaar recommends parking at the P+R on Fuutlaan or in nearby multi-storey car parks. There is a free bicycle parking area at the entrance and a wheelchair ramp in the Grote Zaal; the Kleine Zaal does not have a wheelchair ramp. Food and drink
Under the same roof as Effenaar is Effenaar Meet & Eat, offering dinner, drinks, a terrace and the chance to eat before or after a concert. This is handy for a night out at a show, as you don’t have to go searching elsewhere in the city first. ([effenaar.nl](https://effenaar.nl/restaurant?utm_source=openai))
Accommodation
Given its location near Eindhoven station and the city centre, staying overnight in the immediate vicinity is a practical option for visitors arriving by train or wishing to avoid travelling home late. The official website does not mention any accommodation of its own; the most convenient option is therefore a hotel in the city centre or near the station.
